WBC Director of Nutrition, Sarah Agena, participated in the American Heart Association's inaugural Circle of Red Cooking Demonstration.

In early December, the Wisconsin Beef Council sponsored the American Heart Association’s first Circle of Red Cooking Demonstration, featuring Chef Heskeith from Mason Street Grill in Milwaukee. Chef Heskeith walked 10 Circle of Red members through a delicious heart healthy meal which featured beef tenderloin with sweet potatoes, bell peppers, onions, wild mushrooms and garlic roasted broccoli. Beef’s essential nutrients, the power of protein and lean choices of beef where discussed throughout the presentation.
