Tell us about your farm operation, employment, or business details: I'm the 4th generation to operate Riveredge Farms in Chilton. We raise Registered Simmental and SimAngus Cattle and direct market beef locally. I work for CP Feeds LLC as a merchandiser serving dairy farmers across Wisconsin.

How did you become involved in the industry? My first word was cow and I've been hooked ever since.

What does the WBC mission mean to you - 'To Build Demand for Beef That is Sustainable for Future Generations'? To me this means commitment as an industry to raising a high-quality, nutritious product that is safe for all consumers, creating and supplying sustainable markets for beef now and into the future.

What is your favorite part about being a WBC board member? Engaging with other producers from across our state, all focused on building the future of our industry.

What WBC program area do you feel is important to growing demand for beef and why? Consumer education and foreign marketing. Both are critical components in creating lasting markets for our producers.

If you could tell your friends one key thing about the Beef Checkoff, what would it be? Every dollar invested has an over 13:1 return on investment. Checkoff programs promote your product in an incredibly effective and impactful way.

What is your favorite thing about the agricultural industry? The hardworking, eternally optimistic people.

What is the best piece of advice you've ever received? "Success is temporary, hard work is permanent."
