Dear Media Friends,
Grilling season is upon us, and that means burgers, steaks, and other delicious tastes and aromas of the season. The Wisconsin Beef Council is celebrating May Beef Month, and wants to help you celebrate it along with us.
Wisconsin consumers love beef, so it's fitting that the beef industry in Wisconsin is becoming even more significant to the state. Beef is responsible for more than 35,000 jobs and $2.1 billion in total income to Wisconsin, so it's no small topic. The state now ranks 12th in the United States in the cattle feeding industry, as its cattle feeding capacity in Wisconsin has doubled since 1987.
To help you showcase Wisconsin's beef industry to your readers, we are providing you with news releases, infographics, fact sheets and many other helpful materials. We hope you will help your readers celebrate this important industry - and delicious product - throughout the month of May. Below are links to pre-made press releases for your use.
Please let me know if I can provide you with other helpful information. Thanks!
