During the recent Milwaukee Chapter of the American Culinary Federation's (ACF) Kids Culinary Summer Camp, Sarah Agena hosted a beef educational program for participants.

Agena, who is a registered dietitian and serves as the Director of Nutrition for the Wisconsin Beef Council,  shared details on how beef is raised on farms, the nutritional benefits of beef, and beef preparation tips.  Kids then had the opportunity to create their own beef burger in a contest format, with over 30 kids participating.  This was an opportunity to reach kids with an interest in the culinary profession, and to continue to build awareness with the ACF chapter.  The ACF is a professional organization for chefs and cooks, which focuses on promoting the professional image of chefs through education of culinarians at all levels.
