Strip Steaks with Onion Wine Sauce

Cut: Top Loin Steak/Strip Steak
Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: 25 to 30 minutes

Main Ingredients:

 4 (8oz.) top loin (strip) steaks, 3/4-inch thick
 4 cups yellow onion wedges
 2 cloves garlic, minced
 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
 1/2 cup A.1. Original Steak Sauce
 2 Tbsp. red cooking wine

Directions:
  1. Cook and stir onion and garlic and butter in large skillet on medium-high heat until tender, about 10 minutes.
  2. Stir in steak sauce and wine. Bring to boil. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes.
  3. Grill or broil steaks 6 to 8 minutes on each side for medium rare to medium doneness. Serve onion wine sauce over steaks. Serves 4

  • Great Substitute-- red onions for yellow onions
