Leinie Beef Kabobs

Cut: Sirloin steak
Marinate time: 6 hours to overnight
Total recipe time: 30 minutes

Leinie Beef Kabobs
Main Ingredients:
  • 1 pound boneless beef top sirloin steak, cut 1-inch thick
  • 1 medium onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 pineapple, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • Roma tomatoes, quartered
  • 8 ounces fresh whole button mushrooms
  • 8 bamboo skewers

Leinie's Beef Marinade:

  • 12-ounces Leinenkugel's® Creamy Dark
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 to 5 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Directions:
  1. Combine all ingredients listed in marinade in plastic bag. Cut beef into 1-1/2" cubes and place in bag. Refrigerate marinated beef for a minimum of six hours, although overnight is recommended.
  2.  Soak skewers in water overnight, too. Keep skewers in water until ready to use. (Do not skip this step or your skewers will burn when grilling.)
  3. Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade. Alternately thread beef, onion, bell pepper, pineapple, tomato and mushrooms evenly onto eight 10-inch skewers. Place kabobs on a grid over medium ash-covered coals. Grill uncovered, 7-9 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness, turning occasionally. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
