Main Ingredients:
- 1 pound boneless beef top sirloin steak, cut 1-inch thick
- 1 medium onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 medium green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 pineapple, cut into 1-inch chunks
- Roma tomatoes, quartered
- 8 ounces fresh whole button mushrooms
- 8 bamboo skewers
Leinie's Beef Marinade:
- 12-ounces Leinenkugel's® Creamy Dark
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 to 5 cloves minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients listed in marinade in plastic bag. Cut beef into 1-1/2" cubes and place in bag. Refrigerate marinated beef for a minimum of six hours, although overnight is recommended.
- Soak skewers in water overnight, too. Keep skewers in water until ready to use. (Do not skip this step or your skewers will burn when grilling.)
-
Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade. Alternately thread beef, onion, bell pepper, pineapple, tomato and mushrooms evenly onto eight 10-inch skewers. Place kabobs on a grid over medium ash-covered coals. Grill uncovered, 7-9 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness, turning occasionally. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
