Grilled Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich

Cut: Sirloin Steak
Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: 25-35 minutes

Main Ingredients:

 1 lb. boneless beef top sirloin steak cut 3/4
 1 large garlic clove cut in half
 1/4 tsp. salt
 1/4 tsp. pepper
 1 med. green pepper cut lengthwise in half, seeded and stemmed
 1 sm. yellow onion cut into 1/4
 4 6
 8 slices of provolone cheese
 grilling spray

Directions:
  1. Rub garlic over steak and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Spray grate of outdoor grill and utensils with grilling spray. Preheat grill to medium heat.
  3. Place green pepper and onion on heated grill and cook uncovered 10-12 minutes or until pepper is slightly blackened adn onion is tender turning once. Set onion aside. Place green pepper in food safe plastic bag and let stand until skin loosens.
  4. Grill steak uncovered 13-16 minutes for medium-rare turning occasionally. Remove from grill and keep warm.
  5. Place rolls on grill and toast until golden. Remove skin from green pepper and chop with onion into small strips. Carve steak into thin slices, place on rolls and top with cheese, green peppers, and onions. Makes 6 servings.
